Thanksgiving Guide Round-Up

Roast-Turkey.jpg..jpeg

So I had major, grandiose plans to flesh out a comprehensive Thanksgiving Guide. But then I worked a ton-- cooked for 96 people/ three different events this week (plus all the meals for my family), and frankly, I'm tired! So instead of re-inventing the wheel, I'll just steer you where I would go for inspiration. Do you know about Serious Eats or Food52? They are both AWESOME, and I am spending (wasting) way more time on them than Facebook these days. Go there, but be prepared to GET. SUCKED. IN.

Real Simple has a Step-by-Step Thanksgiving guide for a more straightforward approach... You will be ORGANIZED, DAMMIT!

And of course, there's Martha, in case you have extra free time to embroider all of the guests' monograms on your napkins. But she has some good menus that she's put together, with oven space and timing in mind.

Next week I will post what I'm cooking for my family, with recipes. I promise*!

*Unless I just feel like laying on the couch and watching Master Chef Junior. Have you seen that show? It is so awesome and (most of) the kids are so cute and inspiring! Watch out for contestant Georgia Parrott in the 2018 season.
